SAW PALMETTO BERRIES

Native to coastal, southeastern North America, Saw Palmetto is an old favorite among herbalists and clinical trials have demonstrated its ability for treating urinary disorders and supporting lower urinary tract health. It has astringent and antiseptic qualities and has been shown to be especially effective prior to prostate surgery and in addressing discomfort related to an enlarged prostate.

 

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Saw Palmetto, ju ye zong, is used for its support in regulating hormones. In Ayurveda it is known for supporting the male reproductive system, the respiratory and urinary systems, and its aphrodisiac qualities.
